Role Overview:
Could you be our next Sales Support Manager?Globe Life is looking for a Sales Support Manager to join the team!
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in developing and strengthening relationships with brokers and servicing agents to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and broker retention, by fostering strong relationships, providing training and supporting excellent customer care. This role is the go-to source for our Sales Team in assisting our brokers and their teams with questions around product information, products rates, and service issues.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
- Deliver training to brokers, groups and employees to promote a successful sales cycle from proposal through open enrollment.
- Provide subject matter expertise on GLGB and co-marketed products. Prepare and distribute product updates (state availability and other product features) to the sales team. Communicate products features and limitations clearly.
- Collaborate effectively with the sales team and Business Analyst by creating and issuing sales tracking documentation, dashboards and other reports and data analysis upon request.
- Deliver marketing and communication materials, programs, and presentations, which drive understanding and interest in GLGB products and services. Assist sales team with responses to product inquiries, follow-up on pending proposals and applications, and fulfilling requests for marketing material and sales literature.
- Support sales team in management of pipeline, to ensure opportunities are closed successfully.
- Provide sales team and brokers the information they need to drive successful renewals including distributing renewal decisions to Globe sales team (either via email or in SalesForce), supporting communication of advance decisions to brokers upon request, delivering product training and enrollment guides and working with underwriting to provide experience and group demographic reporting and upsell proposals to brokers upon request.
- May include some travel to conduct open enrollment meetings for certain premier accounts.
- Work with Appointments team & Business Analyst to resolve broker commission issues which includes researching questions regarding commission payments, statements 1099s and working with Appointments team to insure BORs are processed timely.
- Work with Account Management team to research and resolve issues with existing groups and coordinate responses to questions and concerns and report resolution of broker issues.
- Establish active communication and engagement with all other departments to help where necessary.
- Respond to all calls and email inquiries from brokers and their teams promptly to resolve any complaint or issue while maintaining customer satisfaction.
What You Can Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Group Insurance sales and service environment.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of supplemental health market and all aspects of selling new business including case enrollment guides/marketing, proposals, RFPs.
- Demonstrated ability to foster multi-disciplinary team collaboration.
- Maintain a positive attitude while responding to sales team and broker needs.
- Demonstrated ability to assist sales teams with any additional work as needed with a can-do attitude.
- Must be a “people person” with excellent customer service skills.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a clear and friendly speaking voice.
- Attention to detail, with strong data entry skills and ability to organize and prioritize work effectively, is required.
- Must possess basic math and reporting skills including a working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets using vlookup and pivot tables. Prior use of SalesForce/Tableau or other CRM tool required.
